“ Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Spicy Basil Fried Rice with pork at hot level. The food was not very spicy at all despite being at hot. I typically get mild dishes but thought it wasn't spicy. It was delicious overall with a strong basil smell and flavor, fluffy rice, sweet red bell peppers, and some tender pork pieces. Service: 5/5 - friendly and quick service. Was greeted immediately when I walked in and provided a menu when I informed them I was ordering to go. Patient when answering questions about difference between lunch and regular menu. Ambiance: n/a - ordered food to go. But the location was very well decorated with cafe jazz playing. Dark walls with gold accent and a huge wine display against the back wall. Value for price: 4/5 - food was good but on the pricer side. We just got into town so haven't figured out if that's just the average price point or it's more expensive. ”
“ This was an awesome find for us! Went here on a whim when other options around the area didn't sound as good. We always look for things we can't cook ourselves and this definitely fits the bill. We had the crab rangoons (which I normally don't like) but were really good and the dumplings for appetizers. We highly recommend both! For our entres we got the drunken noodles (medium heat) and the green curry with pork (hot). For us the heat was perfect. Hot wasn't too hot but just enough to make me sniffle, keep in mind though I love spicy food! The service was so fast, we walked in and without stopping they walked us to a seat. We had drinks within a minute and our server came by to offer recommendations, which were spot on perfect! The curry was by far my favorite dish of all and I would 100% come back again. Everything felt homemade and authentic, highly recommend. ”
“ Stumbled in after a few other places were closed cause it was Monday and so happy we did! Very cool decor and atmosphere we really liked. Great service that was quick and food hit the spot. We had golden tofu which was crispy on the outside and nice and soft inside. Pad Thai (medium) which was the perfect amount of spice and sauciness and the duck curry which was fragrant and full of flavor. Definitely will be back! ”
“ When we walked in I knew this was going to be a great experience. Lunch was our menu. We ordered ginger tea and it was brought out in a beautiful tea China set. The tea had a simple ginger flavor - not watery. Our soup was just right. Next, we got the massaman and veggie delight both with chicken. Wow! This is THE BEST massaman I have EVER had. The flavor and the consistency were perfect. The service was outstanding and fast! We enjoyed the ambiance and background music as well. We will definitely be back! Update from December 2024: if you want to feel the Christmas Spirt just step inside Thai Delight! It is magical! We l or this place and the food, service and tea are all still excellent every time! ”
“ Was in the area for a pickleball tournament and one of the local players recommended Thai Delight. We stopped by around 3:30ish before leaving and we’re able to get seated right away. We started with the vegetable tempura that was delicious. I got the pad Thai- mild and Eric got a basil beef rice dish. The food was delicious and with nice portions. The restaurant has a very tranquil ambiance which added to the nice meal. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be stopping by again! ”
“ Stopped in for lunch while on the road for work, and it was a pleasant surprise! I ordered the lunch special of drunken noodles, which came with a choice of soup or salad and a spring roll—all for just 11.99. The noodles were flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the server was very attentive, helping me choose the ideal spice level (medium was spot on). The spring roll added a nice crunch to the meal, and the soup was comforting and and warm on a cooler day. For the quality, price, and service, this lunch spot is definitely worth a stop if you're in the area! Dinner prices seemed very reasonable as well ”
“ Four of us decided to try Thai Delight for an early dinner on a Tuesday. We were almost intimidated by the elegant decor when we first came inside... gold utensils, large dining room, flowers, etc. However, this is a cozy venue with friendly staff , and delicious food served with style! The greatest surprise was the price! Each of our meals were 17.00!!! Granted that we didn't have drinks but still generous portions. We each took some home! I highly recommend Thai Delight in Westfield just off 161st St. We'll be back! * we ordered Medium spice and it was plenty hot! I will probably go down 1 step next time.
